Hi, I'm interested in hearing from veterans who developed chronic illness following duty in the Middle East (gastrointestinal symptoms, fatigue, skin rashes, etc.) I don't know if this is comforting or not, but you are no longer the only ones with those weird symptoms (muscle twitching, tinnitus, eyes burning, etc.)
We've been working with microbiologists to better understand some clinical aspects concerning a protozoal infection that emerged in the Middle East just before the Gulf War. Some links appear below.
