Hi everyone, i'm new to this site, but I want to tell my story, and perhaps one of you can; help me get me started in the right direction.

6 months after I was discharged from the Air force, I filed for VA disability, and I missed my first C&P because I had moved to a different state. I then refiled for VA disability in new the state that I had moved to. I also had a VSO at my local regional office to help me file, but the VSO that I was working with, didn't do that good of job.

Infact, he filled in a lot of wrong information on my VA Form 21-22; I comfronted him about this, but he argued that he was right.

I stoped, trying to get that office to help me because they were wrong, and I knew it; the new C&P examination revealed that I had medical problems, but this office said that I didn't, and they refused to process my paperwork any furthure, so I had to file the paperwork myself.

I got rated 60% for Left ventricular dysfunction (Gulf war incurred)
I got rated 50% for Major depressive disorder, recurrent, with psychotic processes (including memory problems). (Gulf war incurred)
I also got a 10% rating for hypertension (Gulf War incurred)

My discharge paperwork has me listed as Gulf War veteran which I am, but I have never received an examination for Gulf war syndrome. Yes, I have tried, but no one will listen to me.

My Left ventricular dysfunction and my health has gotten worse, and my doctor saids that I could die from it.

The VSO, that I had help me; answerd NO for question 16a on my VA Form 21-526 Part A.

16a. Were you ever stationed in the Gulf after August 1, 1990? The answer to this question is yes, and he marked No. Question 16a. also asks; if you answer yes to this question; then answer 16b also. Question 16b asks Do you want to have medical and other information about you included in the "Gulf war veterans' Health registry?" He didn't even bother to mark yes or no on this question. There is also a note next to question 16a that states, "The VA has a registry of veterans who served in the Gulf war. This area has also been called the "Persian Gulf." If you served there, we WILL include your name in the registry. If you want your medical information included, you must check "yes" in item 16b For more information about the registry, see page 4 of the General instructions for VA Form 21-526.

I dug through my records the other day, and came across my VA Form 21-22 which I had put away and forgten about; I then started researching more about Gulf War Syndrome, and I found that I have a lot of the symptoms that other veterans suffer from. I know Gulf war syndrome exsists because I live with it every day. My first Cardiologists, told me that he couldn't explaine my heart condition, and that in his professional opinon he beleived that I had caught a virus some how, and it has attached its self to my heart.

He then sent me to a heart specialist; the heart specialist then did a procedure on me; this procedure entailed burning off certain little veins running to my heart which were giving extra little electrical sparks to my heart.
It has been 4 years now, since that procedure, and I was just admitted to hospital the other day because my " Left ventricular dysfunction" had gotten worse. My new Cardiologists said, "that these little veins must have reattached themselves," and he wanted to send me to another "Heart specialist", so they could do some studies and fit me with a defibulator. I said, I don't think so, well you can die, if you don't have this done. This is were I currently am in my situation; I am now in the process of trying to get a higher rating for my (Gulf war incurred) Left ventricular dysfunction.

Here is a question, that I would like to have answered; Can I hold this VSO resposible for letting me fall through the cracks? and Yes, he was given power of attorney to repersent me.

I realize that this is a long post, but any help would be greatly appreciated.,
